A Day on the Hills
One Day Course:
£29 per person per day.
The course is a practical refresher day out on the fells using a GPS to navigate a downloaded route. In addition, participants will work through a detailed task list to revise and extend their practical GPS skills.
Is this course right for you?
You will already feel comfortable using a GPS at a basic level and feel confident that the day's outdoor programme is within your ability. You may have attended one or more of our GPS training courses but it is not necessary to have done so.
What's the course designed to achieve?

•Test your skills - eg placing waypoints, routes, reversing routes, tracks, backtracking, finding locations and geocaching challenges
•Get answers to any questions or difficulties in using your GPS from your tutors during the day
•Learn from the questions and experiences of the other participants
