Introducing GPS - Workshops

These workshops are an ideal and inexpensive way for potential users to have a short hands on taster session, find out how the system works, get an idea how much these things cost, and if the technology is for them.

They are great promotional tools when working with our sponsors in the trade, during Outdoor Events like Keswick Mountain Festival , and with our retail partners like George Fisher Ltd

What will I learn?

The workshops are wholly practical sessions led by a GPST Team member, each session will cover GPS basics, How to Mark your Position, and navigate to a saved position (GOTO). You will leave understanding the advantages of this technology and having had the opportunity to handle a GPS in the field and talk to the experts.

Meet the Experts & Introducing GPS workshops at George Fisher Ltd in2008

One of the GPS Training team will be in store to answer questions and give in dependant advice on all things relating to GPS and Memory-Map software throughout the day. On the same day you will also have chance to take part in a practical outdoor workshop.

Call into the store and quiz us for free or book onto one of the taster sessions for £10. The sessions start from George Fisher Ltd and last for approx one and a half hours. Take part & receive £10 George Fisher voucher redeemable against GPS or digital mapping purchases over £50.
