Aviemore is the nearest large town (about 5 miles) to Glenmore it offers plenty of accommodation options although there is a Forestry Commission caravan & camping site right opposite the visitor centre and Glenmore Lodge Scotlands Outdoor Centre with good accommodation is with walking distance of our training venue.

We are going to be using the FC training room located at the visitor centre which offers walking right out of the door

Sopworth is near Didmarton between Stroud, Tetbury & Bath set in the rolling hills of the South Cotswolds. We use the village hall which is located on the heart of the village with easy walking straight out of the door. This is a beautiful and convenient location to hold our courses, with good access to the M4.

Martyr Worthy is a quiet village located on the Itchen Way in Hampshire's rolling countryside, with easy access to the M3 (J9). This new venue will give those on the South Coast and New Forest areas access to our courses, and yet still be easily accessible from the Home Counties in just over an hour.

This must be the ultimate venue! Mungrisdale nestles in the lee of Blencathra just off the A66 between Keswick and Penrith (M6 - J40). This is the Lakes at its most dramatic, with great walking country right on the doorstep. On the other side of the beck is The Mill Inn, a comfortable country pub , offering those attending our courses a lunchtime break and local accommodation (highly recommended - great food).

New for 2010 - GPST are delighted to announce that they will be running courses in partenership with the University of Central Lancashire (Uclan) at their state of the art Outdoor Centre Tyn Dwr - accommodation is available on site (Pete & I stayed when checking out the walks etc and it was like staying at a top hotel - we found a great place to eat in Llangollen as well)

This is a great location with walking straight out of the door and is ideal for customers who come from that side of the Pennines. We use a room at Sherwood Forest Craft Centre on the green at Edwinstowe which provides direct walking to Sherwood Forest and the Major Oak.
