Very impressed with the level of service I have received so far. Upgraded from an Oregon 600 to 700, the person on the phone I spoke to knew their stuff, which is very rare these days, GPS arrived next day all set up and ready to go with a complete step by step guide of how to use both the unit and basecamp (which I have struggled a bit in the past with, but not now as you gave me instructions of how to use it). I could not have asked for any more, I hope you guys continue to prosper as it is well deserved.

My first Garmin GPS and really liking it. After spending lots of time (and talking it over with the guys at GPS Training) I went for the Oregon 700. Super piece of kit. It look a little time to get to grips with it (which I think I would have struggled with) without all the help guides and online videos I got free with the unit. I have walked most weeks with friends and I really enjoy planning routes etc on my computer before we go. Great piece of kit and a very big thank you to GPS training who really made the purchase and learning process one I now tell my fellow walkers about.

I am useless with maps alone so decided to get a GPS luckily for me I found GPS trainings website and after a very helpful phone call with Andy ordered my Oregon. It arrived early next morning with oodles of information and set up ready to go.It is an incredible machine, the screen is so easy to read especially in bright sunshine, I always know exactly where I am now.Using Basecamp, downloading .GPX files, creating your own routes is so easy thanks to the tutorial video's and written pages supplied by GPS training and if you need any more help an email sent to them is answered almost immediately.I strongly recommend both my Oregon GPS and GPS training.

Bought Oregon 700 Jan 2017. Excellent service when purchased and when I have had queries since. Really enjoying using the unit. At first it seems quite complicated compared with using OS Maps on a smart camp. But getting used to using it with Base Camp on my PC

I bought the Oregon 700 after consulting John about my needs. The unit is great, very configurable. The 'Get You Started paperwork and videos are first class.Best of all is the ability to plan routes directly onto the unit. Excellent service and support from GPS Training.

I contacted GPS Training for some advice before deciding which GPS unit to purchase and received very professional and knowledgable information, which helped me to chose the most appropriate unit. Their web based training is excellent and really helps you get to know your chosen GPS device. I have had reason to call GPS Training a couple of times since I took delivery of my Oregon 700 and have found their after sales support to be excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending GPS Training.

I found GPS training when I was searching the web looking for an upgrade. Contacted them and found them very helpful and knowledgeable. Having discussed my needs I opted for the Oregon 700 with the European mapping. Initially there was a problem with the Garmin site and the maps would not download. GPS training kept me informed of every stage and quickly resolved the problem. The Oregon 700 meets all my requirements and needs and the free training is icing on the cake. If you are looking for a GPS I would recommend you give them a call, in my experience they are helpful, friendly and have a sound knowledge base.

Looking for my first GPS device I found GPS training via Google. Called up and they explained the differences between the 700 range very clearly and it soon became apparent that all I needed was the 700. After checking out the prices on the web GPS training seemed a bit more expensive than some on first look but the level of training you get with the unit is worth the little bit extra. When I bought the unit it was on sale at GPS training that made it the same prices as the cheaper websites but with a load of training included, bargain. There was a problem with the unit getting to GPS training from the supplier, however I was kept informed all along and they pulled all the stops out to get it to me in time for my holiday. The initial start-up information you get from GPS training was a big help and saved a lot of time getting the unit ready for going away. I have not created any routes yet but it is very easy to download and upload ones from the web. Took a bit of time to get used to using the unit and the information it was telling me while out walking but once you have figured it out it is very clear. The unit came with 1:50000 maps but I found the screen a bit too small to tell me the information I wanted. This can be overcome by purchasing some 1:25000 maps in the areas you want for a small cost. The only disappointing this so far is the battery life. Using new Duracells the unit doesnt last an entire days walking. Overall Im happy with the Oregon 700 but need to get out there more to fully test the unit to its full capacity

We are very pleased with our new Oregon 700, and especially with the truly excellent support provided by Shepherds Walks GPS training. The unit was beautifully set up by them prior to shipping, which made life much easier - we could use it straight out of the box, and having all of the UK's 1:50000 ordnance survey's maps installed was an additional bonus. We can thoroughly recommend GPS training, who provide a first class support service that makes their site the best value place to purchase your GPS equipment.

I'm loving my new Oregon 700! I've just used it in Iceland and actually am off to climb the Ettrick Hills this morning with it!Big thanks to Linn and Henry at GPS for helping me with the Iceland map download! The support service from GPS is second to none! And their training linked with the online Garmin instructions is brilliant

I was looking for a unit both for walking and mountain biking, after reviewing various sites and units I felt the advice and information from GPS training was the most informative and accurate which helped me make my decision. Regarding the Oregon 700, what a piece of kit, I cannot fault it in anyway. The support and service has also been brilliant.

After spending many hours reviewing products that would serve my purpose for Road Cycling & Hill/Mountain adventures and after speaking with GPS Training I decided to purchase the Garmin Oregon 700. I was delighted with the info, quick response & setup/detailed instructions provided by GPS Training. The unit is very impressive and easy to use, I haven't had a chance to use it on the Hills yet but I have done many miles cycling with it and am very impressed . One thing I have to mention though is that the battery life has been poor so far. I suspect this is due to the windchill temperature it experiences whilst mounted on the handlebars. I have got the battery usage set to low and am using good quality rechargeable batteries that have served me well in the past, but doesn't achieve the battery life quoted.

I purchased my Oregon 700 from GPS Training in August this year and consider it to be a good choice. I contacted Jon at GPS Training following a web search. We discussed my navigation requirements and decided on a 700.I am a hillwalker and cyclist. My own area is the north of Scotland where accurate navigation is pretty essential for most of the year and more so when the weather closes in.Exploring the unit thoroughly will take some time over the winter but I consider it to be a good piece of kit.I know some reviewers have mentioned battery life and it is wise to recharge after every daily trip. Have a look at GPS Training tips on battery life which are helpful.I have looked at the training pages for the 700 prepared by GPS and taken part in the free webinars. I am not sure what more this organisation can do by way of support and service. My own view for any reader of this review is to ask why bother going elsewhere! To Jon,Andy,Henry and staff at the company I say keep up this standard of service.
